"Please kiss me?" She pleaded as she went on her tiptoes to reach my face

"No Sage, I can't." I wanted to, God knows I wanted to, but I can't. When I answered Digga's phone, the last thing I expected was a drunk Sage screaming to come get her. I didn't even tell my cousin I answered his phone, I left as soon as she told me where she was.

She stopped walking and pulled herself away from me, "You don't like me?"

"Weh uh mean? Mama don't do that." I pulled her into a hug. "Of course I like you. I like you too much."

"Uh nuh waa kiss mi." She pouted.

I lift her up and she buried her face in my neck. "Sage mi waa kiss uh when uh know waa happen, plus uh have a boyfriend, nuh waa uh regret nothing."

She nodded and hummed her response.

We got to the car and I opened the back door for her and tried putting her to stand but she clung to me.

"Sage?"

"Not yet, please."

Mi heart melt a while aguh dawg. "Okay, but atleast mek we guh inna the car, outside kinda cold."

She got down from my arms and went into the backseat and I joined her. She immediately climbed into my lap and wrapped her arms around my neck again and snuggled up to me.

"Can I stay with you tonight?" She whispered
