One Last Summer

A self-given deadline.
A curious boy.
A desperate girl.
A series of promises.
A number of late nights talks taking place in the dark shadows of the trees in a park.
An unpredictable future.

Or, a girl decides she doesn't want to live beyond the end of the summer. She meets a nice boy. He's cheesy, but she's happy (there may be a correlation.) They slowly let each other slip through their guard. Until the end of the summer comes.
