13 years. It's been 13 years since I saw the glimpse of him. My friend's brother. I first saw him when I'm in my 8th class. My lips automatically curved into a smile. Being shy girl, I never dared to lift my head to look into his eyes. But I used to feel his presence whenever he came near to us, to talk to his sister. 

Being the bright guy with a well built body, he is not only the straight A student but also the school's volleyball captain. Having star image in school, a huge girl following is always behind him. Me being introvert with an average grades never thought of approaching him, but used to enjoy his presence in campus.

Days passed on and he completed his 12th and passed out of school. Suddenly, the wave of happiness which always welcomed me to school is no more. Neither I have the courage to talk to him nor had a chance to meet him in the future. So I secretly kept the most beautiful memory of my life " him" in the bottom of my heart and moved in with my studies 

All these memories started flashing out, when my father came to me with a marriage proposal. My father is hell bend to not let go of this alliance. I kept on rejecting the proposals all these years, but deep down I know that there is no ray of hope to get united with HIM, nor i can keep my father disappointed.

Having no option, I agreed to this alliance with zero interest, only for my father. But when I saw the groom's photo I freeze there for a minute. I kept on blinking my eyes to make sure it not my imagination. It's him, it's really him.
