Lust als biologischer Treibstoff
In der klassischen Biomechanik wird Bewegung oft als ein Phänomen der Effizienz oder der Überwindung von Widerständen betrachtet. Warum aber sollte ein Organismus überhaupt die Energie aufwenden, um sich gegen die Entropie und die Schwerkraft aufzulehnen? Warum rollt er sich nicht einfach ein und schläft sich dem ewigen Schlaf entgegen?
Meine Antwort lautet: Ich glaube, es gibt eine intrinsische Belohnung für Bewegung.
Die Lust der Welle
Bewegung lohnt sich. Bewegungslust ist ein Signal des Nervensystems, dass das System kohärent arbeitet. Wenn die Welle ohne Reibungsverlust durch das horizontale Aggregat fließt, schüttet das Gehirn jene Botenstoffe aus, die uns sagen: Das ist richtig. Das ist Leben. Ohne diesen Lust-Antrieb gäbe es keinen Grund, die Komplexität der Vertikalen überhaupt zu riskieren. Die Depression des Einrollens entspricht dem Verstummen der Bewegungslust - wenn das System nur noch Gefahr und Anstrengung registriert.
