Star-Colored Fingertips

"Are you sure this is safe?" I say, looking around to see if there is anyone. "Do you even look at the stars?"

"I told you. I'm not doing this because it's safe. And I'm not doing this because I just look at stars. That's just plain unreasonable."

"Then....before we go.....please tell me where we are going," I say, letting go of the boy's hand, which was unbelievably warm.

He laughs. "We're going to see what we have been missing on, before the world crumbles around us."

My face crumples up in confusion. "What does that mean?"

Hinata grabs my arm again and pulls me out unto the sidewalk. "You're going to find out soon, now let's get moving, you overgrown dipstick."
