Enter Daphne Gallagher, queen of BroadStat High. She's got it all from her head to her size seven toes. Daphne could get any boy that she wanted, if she tried hard enough. She doesn't want to be easy. She also can't get enough self confidence to be loved by anyone, let alone a guy. Enter Coda Hemingway, king of the large slurpee. He's got nothing desirable. His hands are too small, too dainty to play football. His eyes aren't the correct shade of blue to pass for dreamy. But everyone loves him anyways. He's never dated anyone, hence the current rumors of his sexuality taking a turn for the worst. Coda doesn't want to be noticed. He has no problems with himself, so why should he start any? What would happen if these two were to meet at a fast food restaurant? And if the slurpee machine were to mysteriously break down?

Julianne Banks is captain of the cheerleading team and the most popular girl in school. So, when the coach of the cheerleading team threatened to kick her off the cheerleading team if she didn't get her grade up in trigonometry; she saw it as a turn for the worst. None of her friends or her boyfriend were good at trigonometry. And she didn't know anybody that was willing to tutor her without getting anything out of it. That was until she met the most outspoken and sarcastic guy ever. And he rambles, occasionally. WARNING: this book is extremely cheesy and can be dumb lol so, yeah, read at your own risk.
