Broken promise

We were mere children at the time but we kept the promise until the day we died. We tried everyday to try and make everyday count to be as the last. Then a day came when a new girl moved in and stole him from me. The worst feeling in the world, having you one true love being taken away from you. Waiting days for your love to come and speak to you or see you. But then be stops, you want to ask but you don't want to see persistent. You want him to like him at the most love you but then he leaves. He never shows up. He never speaks. He disappeared? No stop lying to yourself. He left you for another because you were nothing. The truth of the reality was that he never came back and soon later he married her and we never spoke again. We never saw each other again and it could have been a great life. But it ended because I was of no use. And I woke up eventually and finally realized he had moved on shortly after our child's promise. But me? I never did. And this caused the end of me.
