This sci-fi post apocalyptic novel takes place in Agriotia - a fortress like city that no one may enter or leave. Davina, a strange and wacky girl lives on her own in a huge, skyscraper-like tower block. She bumps into a obtuse and slightly self obsessed inventor on his way to the scrap yard . He (Fayzil) decides to let her accompany him. Things get strange when she falls ill at the scrapyard and as Fayzil undigs more and more of her past, he distances himself from her. Things get stranger as Fayzil's mother - a megalomaniac CEO appears to be controlling her staff in odd ways and has very clear cut plans for the city. Davina is recently hired to model for the very same company but something tells her that she isn't just their for her job... © All rights reserved (for the whole story)

SYNDICATE

Cazasyn Vale, better known on the streets as Syn, was born to slip through the cracks. In the future Undercity of Londris, where survival isn't a crime but a necessity, Syn survives by lifting and reselling parts. Every ten years determines your place in society, but when Syn's twentieth birthday brings her a life-score high enough to ascend to the Spires-where the air is clean and food is endless-she's torn from her brother, whose next evaluation will brand him another ten years of Critical status or Expendable. His erasure may be inevitable now unless Syn finds a way to change his fate. Life in the Spires is no haven though. Hired as secretary to Kaze Abney, the Corporation's enigmatic head of technology, Syn senses he's hiding something, and she's determined to uncover it at any cost, and when she finds it, it's nothing of what she was expecting. All Syn wants is to save her brother. But the deeper she dives into the restricted secrets of the key she now carries, the more she realizes she can't rescue him without deciding the fate of everyone marked Expendable. And as rebellion brews, Syn must choose between blood or freedom. Blood or freedom. Which would you choose?
