This story takes place after gaining access to the normal world again in Sonic Prime season 3. After the fighting the robot(I assume) at the end of the episode, Sonic confesses his love for Amy. They date for a while until she breaks up with him for loving someone else. Sonic heartbroken, doesn't know who this mysterious person is but hopes for the best for her. While this is happening, the night they dated, he befriended Shadow. He helps him along his breakup. However, Shadow was in love with him from day 1.
