A Crossover fanfic between the worlds of 'I'm in Love with the Villainess' by Inori and 'Half-Life 2' by Marc Laidlaw. All ILTV characters featured belong to Inori-sensei and I do not own any of them. Same goes for several Half-Life characters who are properties of Valve, despite several of them being altered within this story. I would also like to note that the best way to enjoy this fic will be after reading all five ILTV Light Novels and playing Half-Life 1 & 2 (plus 2's Episodes). Not required per se, but it will make everything much more seamless.

Fedora lovers and anime girl enjoyers often fantasize about how cool it would be if 2D girls were real. However, they rarely think of the consequences if one were to exist. A young man named Gabriel suddenly has to deal with this reality when one day, he makes a surreal discovery when he opens a portal to another dimension while trying to steal Piza Poteto from Japan via teleportation, of all things. Instead of delicious chips, he's instead given a gorgeous but also terrified high school girl who looks just like an anime character from a 2D world who was browsing the snack aisle at her local convivence store. In this story, I attempt to delve into what would happen if a Japanese 2D girl was introduced into the 21st century world we live in. How would one communicate to an anime girl without subtitles? How would a kid who's little more than a loser wage slave and does nothing productive have to change his lifestyle to accommodate his new roommate? Can you fall in love with a girl who is just as confused by 3D humans as you are by 2D humans? And can she fall in love with you despite being terrified of men? All these questions and more will be answered in this story.
