I screamed at the top of my lungs when he slashed the boy's neck with his claw. The boy next to the dead body stood frozen while he visibly squeezed the boy's head into nothing. Jack pushed me at the monster and ran out the door, but he didn't make it far. He caught up with him and bit off his head, blood trickling down his chin. Then the monster turned towards me and threw Jack through the window, loosing interest in the boy in a second. He walked towards my shaking body, leaning his 8 foot body down to mine. The smile that formed on his disgusting face made my stomach do a 360° flip. And the fire that was enveloping him was making my eyes burn. I woke up in an unfamiliar place & my head was pounding... I looked around, only soon to meet eyes with a really handsome boy... "Hey baby girl, how'd you sleep?" He questioned coming to sit near me; I scooted away from him & looked at him confused. "Who are you? How do you know my name? Where am I? Why am I here?" "Calm down baby... You're safe. Now get dressed, I want you to meet some people." He stated as he got off the bed, kissed my forehead, & left me in the unfamiliar room confused & frightened. As I was getting dressed, I realized the guy that was in the room with me looked familiar to me, like I've seen him before, but where..? I pushed the thoughts aside & finished putting on jean shorts & a t-shirt.

Beep... Beep... Beep... Your blood shot eyes opened "Hospital room?" You said You look around. A blood bag is connected to a plastic tube and that tube is connected to your arm. Bandages are to be seen on your left leg. The sound of metal and glass hitting the floor made you jump. You turn to the cause of the noise. A nurse is in the room, shes backing up at the sight of you. A metal platter is a few feet in front of her and is on the floor. Medication pills are now spilled across the floor and glass shards are laying there with the pills. You see some water along with it. She was looking at you in both astonishment and fear. She dashed out of the room. "HEY! Wait! " You protested "What's going on?" -----WARNING HARSH LANGUAGE AND GORE IN CHAPTERS-----

My eyes shot open adjusting into the darkened space, the only source of light coming from my old blue lamp as it cast a soft glow, illuminating the shadows of my possessions, the coat handing on the back of my door producing a large figure on the side of my white wall. “That’s me.” I fell off the bed. --------------------------------------- Lily's life has revolved around her blood condition, pain after pain keeps bringing her closer to death and she just doesn't see the point in being alive anymore. So when she gets into one final accident and the paramedics are called out, life may just start to have meaning. But when that consists of a rather freaky guy who claims he can help her, will she destroy herself to live again?

No one stopped to look. No one glanced in the alley I cried in. I was tired of this place, so tired of the endless days that stretched out before me. The emptiness in my heart was eating me alive, with no end in sight. My own darkness was swallowing me whole and leaving nothing alive. The tears froze on my bright red cheeks. I was tired of feeling so broken, but most of all I was tired of being so alone. I pulled out the cold heavy weapon from my coat and stared at it. "If someone would look this way," I thought, "If someone would just glance at me and see my pain. I won't do it." There was a man standing in front of me. After he removed the single bullet from my pistol, he handed it back to me, and left. I followed the man at a distance back to his apartment. He knew that I had followed him and waited at the door to let me in. For reasons I cannot explain I entered his tiny apartment. I fell asleep at the table playing with the bullet and woke up to my alarm the following morning. There was a pillow beneath my head, a blanket over my shoulders, and a note that read: "Dear Stranger..."
