Sometimes all we need is someone to lean on. Shivaay was used to the world's cruelties, he was used to spending his life bottling up all his emotions inside.

Annika became that person to him.

She came as a source of light, illuminating the darkness with her radiant smile.

The two form a quick friendship.

But it was ephemeral.

What it turned into had scarred him.

Years later he's still fighting the ghosts of his past which has reduced him to living shell.

They encounter again.

Not a fates game. But her resilience.

She vowed to heal the wounds she had inflected him with.

Will she able to heal what has been broken by the world? Or will she realise that the even though the wounds could be healed, the scars would remain.

That was how long he had spent sacrificing his own happiness for the happiness of the family that didn't think twice before ousting him out of the very place he'd grown up in-- the very place he called home. He had held out hope; desperation to be loved as unconditionally as he'd done all throughout the years. Then came she-- light that had driven away the darkness. Their love had been like two storms-- with the raging thunder and fresh raindrops which washed away the gloom. But the very family he had spent so long protecting caused his light to be snuffed out. And she held his hand through it all. It is said that separation brings people closer. What they missed out on, is that space can be utilised to 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐭 people of notions that their love had initially blinded them to. 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐬: 𝑜𝑛𝑔𝑜𝑖𝑛𝑔
