Jewel is spending her junior year with her dad, in a town she hasn't lived in since she was 8. After school one day she goes to run on the track and a strange guy rams into her, twisting her wrist and knocking out his tooth. Being new has it's perks, but she sees her sweet, old best friend, Winnie, in 6th hour, only to find out she's become a snobby bitch when her mom remarried a rich guy. Winnie remembers Jewel and is out to get her, except Jewel has no idea why. One long year dealing with her sports-obsessed dad, her douche bag brother, new friends, a bitchy ex-friend, Some random guy named Zach, starting over and building a reputation that will only last a year!

Having such a reputation with the entire school has extremely high standards, and she can't meet them anymore.
