"Wait! You were born at the time when there weren't any Superhumans?"

"Technically yes!" Nishi paused. Looking at Kabbo's flabbergasted face she continued, " So, Mr.Kabbo what Generation of Superhuman were you again?"

"52nd generation."

"Oh! That's quite young! I'm... on the other hand the 3rd generation!" she nonchalantly said as she took another sip of her milk tea.

"If 3rd then why there wasn't any........oh my god!" as realization hit Kabbo, it almost caused his cup of tea to spill over, which he slowly laid down on the table the next moment. His hands led to cover his twisted scornful smile while his brain proceeded to overload itself once again.

Nishi who silently finished her tea by now, very gleefully stated, "Thank you so much for the tea Mr. Kabbo. Your Hospitality is indeed praiseworthy!"

He looked back at her and his natural innocent smile replaced his previous one, " Maybe for this praiseworthy hospitality of mine we both could pretend this conversation between us never happened?"

Nishi shook her head sidewise making his smile drop.

" You know what? I really should have poisoned you instead!"

" You are most welcome to dream about that. Hmm? What are you doing?"

"Calling my aunt!"

"And why?"

"To tell her to start preparing for my funeral ASAP of course!"

Nishi chuckled.

" You know, you got a rare talent for cracking jokes in the most serious moments Mr.Kabbo. I almost can see myself admiring you for that!"

" I'm flattered Miss Eumireqa, but this time I ain't joking. This forbidden knowledge that you just bombarded me with can literary cost me my life!"

"Wow! That Honorific came out of nowhere!"

" Because I know how to respect my elders. But that's not the point! The point is Why? Why did you let me know all of these?"

" Because of course, I need you to do me a little favor."

"Pff! Miss Eumireqa, This is not asking for a favor, this is blatant blackmailing!"

"You wanted to say something." I knew why she was here, but I pretended to be surprised. Despite her intelligence and beauty, she seemed nervous. Her eyes darted around the room as if she were afraid to be overheard. "What is it?" I asked, urging her on. I studied her face, searching for clues. Her usual playful demeanor was replaced by a seriousness that intrigued me. "You've been avoiding me," I stated flatly. She hesitated, her eyes wide. "Hmm," she mused, "something really important." I nodded encouragingly. Her words were like a bomb going off in my head. My world tilted on its axis as she tried to explain the shocking truth. I was so stunned, her explanation was a blur. --------------------- "You're hot, you know" "I know." He said nodding in amusement and continued again eyeing me "But I didn't know that you can be this bold too." "I know." I said making both of us chuckle. I slowly came more near him and held his hands and placed my head on his shoulder. He smiled seeing this. I continued the conversation saying "We're equal now." He chuckled again and a comfortable silence took place between us. Out of nowhere I just wished to kiss him on his cheeks and did so. He was shocked for a second but again composed himself and arched his eyebrow on me while a small smirk playing on his lips. "Eager enough?" He said making me blush. "I don't want anymore dirty stuff with you." I said without seeing him in his eyes because I knew I will fuck up if I see him right now. "Yeah? Well, that is where I'm talented much more than this world knows." He said chucking. "So cocky you are." I said looking in his eyes with a bad face. "We know that babe." He said shifting his gaze from me to down of him. And when I understood what he meant, I shifted away from him making him laugh. "Go away. You're so bad. Don't touch me. Go. Shoo." I said, slapping his hands. #5 amendment on 7 June, 2024 #383 forever on 31 August, 2024 #104 Indian story on 2 August, 2024

"So, let me get this straight. You stomped all over his paperwork?" She started. "Not intentionally, but yes," I confirmed it. "Threw a drink in his face?" She added. "Expensive red wine." I described. "Rammed into his car with yours deliberately?" she counted on her third finger. "Um...I'm not proud of that one," I said cringing. "And called him offensive names?" She ended the list and I winced. "Twice." I specified. "And you're still alive?" She blinked, looking genuinely surprised. "Geez, don't be dramatic or anything..." I frowned at her hyperbolic statement. "Maybe he's keeping you around to get revenge." She suggested. Possible. I wouldn't put it past him. "I didn't know alright!" I exclaimed. The combination of cheese, garlic and onion on the crispy bread with the combination of chilled soda with a slight burning sensation in the throat was savory. The breadcrumbs which flew in the air and fell on his plate. He wanted to run away without looking back. He should not have agreed to meet her today. "Back to Earth, Dahiya." He looked up with disgust written all over his face but it seemed like Maithili couldn't care any less. She wiped her fingers and crossed her arms before showing a grin that screamed 'you won't believe it but I have a great idea'. "You can't marry me." Of course he can't or he might go crazy within a month. "Oh?" "Yes. I have AIDS." What the f*ck? "Go tell your parents that you can't marry me because I have AIDS." The statement led by a bright smile with a jump on her seat in excitement had Nikshit choking on his soda. Eventually he felt it inside his nose as well when he tried to breathe. His eyes became watery and reddened. Maithili patted his back out of consideration and handed him a glass of water which still didn't help. "Are you okay?" The coughing stopped but Nikshit couldn't wipe off the flabbergasted look from his face. What is wrong with this girl! He doesn't want to stay around her anymore. She's crazy! ~ ☆✿☆~
