After graduating from senior high school, Narra, a girl from the cities of metro manila, has to spend her summer in a remote village upon the request of her ill grandmother whom she barely met. But unlike the cities, in a village surrounded by trees and mountains, there is no noise. In the quiet and steady sound of unending rain, trees may call your name, raindrops may conjure strange things, and past the mists, the woods are always watching.

These are the things Narra was not prepared for, the exact same things that will lead her to moving shadows, midnight phantoms . . . and a mysterious boy who will take her to untold lores, sweeping journeys, and unexpected discoveries that has survived the test of time.

But little did Narra know that a looming threat is waiting to take away everything she hold dear.
