Melody Jones, a 18 year old girl who had a pretty close relationship with her parents until one day they became quite secretive and didn't pay her any mind. The night before her 18th birthday, they approached Melody with two suitcases and car keys.
"We are sending you off now dear" her mother whispered trying hard not to show any emotion. Her father stood behind her mother his head held high as he set the suitcases down.
"I will give you enough money to get to where you need to go, in one of the suit cases are journals and books for what is next to come. I'm sorry we have to do this this way. We do love you our beautiful daughter. But we cannot control the beast within you. We tried and we don't know how it happened besides what's in the journals and books." He spoke so softly yet full of no emotion. Melody let the tears fall, but grabbed the things, and her purse and walked out the front door.
