You know how it feels when those you love are the key factors as to why you are scarred physically and emotionally?. You don't? Well, Maliya Jamil can't really say the same thing. Thrown into a school to be tortured with only her scars as company; it's only a matter of time before she starts to wish for someone to talk to...even if it's death. A failed suicide attempt sends her back to her former life, but this time she's barely recognisable to those who once knew her. Hatred, regret, betrayal, forgiveness, and of course what's it all without a bit of heart wrenching romance. When childhood friends become enemies, and when feelings, once platonic, become jumbled up in a mix of love and hatred, Maliya can help but take solace in an external feud. Betrayal rears its ugly head, and it's all back to square one. Friendships are mended, and some are irreparable. Feelings spark and others dim. Seven years and a medical degree later, the dynamics of relationships have changed. And Maliya finds herself at crossroads, stuck between two men who've hurt her in their own ways. One with whom she spent the most memorable days of her youth, her best friend and the other, the only man who'd been by her when everyone else had betrayed her. Faced with a choice she dreads making, what will she do? Take a look into Saved by my nightmare, and see what happens when a scarred, vengeful girl makes her return.

Yasmine is a star girl, with plans for the future, good grades and a boyfriend to top it up but how can she survive when her enemies are her family, a menacing father willing to give her out without a second thought, a step mother cruel enough to be Shaytan himself and a step sister who's jealousy burns from within, a drive that's enough to kill a person. As her world comes crumbling down, will she crumble with it or stand in the midst of the rumble. _________ I'm not going to cry I'm not going to cry I'm not going to cry He chuckled wickedly as Hauwa stoked his hand tenderly. 'At first it was about your virginity but you were stubborn so I took it slow, till I got what I wanted' he said, his eyes void of emotion. 'Turns out you're easy and a slut at that' he completed as Hauwa laughed heartily. Tears fell from my eyes freely, like a waterfall, like dew on the desert. I swallowed to ease my parched throat as I bit my lips trying not to scream. My breath was becoming uneven as I strode to where he stood and slapped him across the face with all the anger, the sorrows and frustration that were bottled up on me. 'You disgust me' I managed to say as tears started to blur my vision and for a second I saw hurt in his eyes or maybe I assumed it. I ran, bumping into tables, chairs and people, I didn't care. Ammi always told me there was a thin line between love and hate and I had crossed that line today with Sadiq', the one that wiped away my tears and told me it was going to be fine, my calm after the storm was actually my enemy in disguise. Shit!!! When it rains it fucking pours. ____________ Will she loose herself or find love in the most unexpected place?

"She's right! She's right! I don't cut in the right spot." My hold tightens on my wrist. The red blood oozes out of my wrist. I slide up and grab my bag and run out of the bathroom. I don't care if people can see the blood I just want to get out. I race for the doors and shove through people. I earn a lot of glares and glances that read "weirdo." I ignore and push. I run to my house and lock myself in my bathroom. I don't bother closing the front door cause I don't care if people come in to kill me. I grab my razor and cut deep cuts into my arm and wrists falling into a pool of my own blood. • • • Evangeline has a great life. Friends? Check! Good grades? Check! Loving family? Check! Don't say I didn't warn you. Okay, I wrote this at the start of this year (may 2016) and I had very poor writing skills. This book hasn't been edited and the whole idea is cliche so I wouldn't recommend you read it but I'm not stopping you, either. Read at your own risk. • • • Copyright © 2017 by -moonlust. "So you approached me without being aware of my identity?" He asks me, while raising an eyebrow. To say I was shocked would be an understatement. It takes me a while to compose myself and form a sensible reply. "Yes, I wasn't aware of your identity." "You might think you can fool me, but trust me, this has happened quite a few times before as well." He says with a very serious expression. I'm baffled by his accusation. This man has the audacity to question my intentions when he's the one trying to converse with me all along. I don't know what comes over me, but whenever I'm overwhelmed with anger, it turns into tears. And before I can compose myself, I taste the salty tears in my mouth. I take a few deep breaths, place the cup on the side table and get up to leave. "Thank you for your hospitality and your excellent assessment of my character. I will now take your leave." With that, I turn to head towards the door but he grabs my hand and pulls me towards him. Characters: Ameerah is a happy-go-lucky 23 year old who has recently graduated from med school. Muhammad thought of Madeenah as a child, younger than his baby sister, although way more mature. She seemed to have created a bond with his daughter and that was all that came to his mind about her. Not her smooth caramel skin, or her captivating light brown eyes and neither did her sweet voice do it for him. Madeenah thought of Ya Muhammad as an arrogant and stoic person but a really good father. In truth she was terrified of him. She hated the way he would look at her, as though she was less important than him. She hated the way he never spoke unless he needed to. She hated the way his voice washed over her, making her shiver. She hated his height and how it made him tower over her small frame. She hated him but she just couldn't stop thinking about him. So what happens when the two end up being brought together by an unusual arrangement . He's older, she's younger. He has a daughter and she has barely begun life. Will he let go of the past and try to find happiness or will he drag her down with him? --------------------------------------- "Let's get married." He says with such a straight face that I feel stupid as I chuckle. "What did you just say?" I ask in disbelief. "You heard me Madeenah." He says in a gravelly tone. "Why would you want to marry me?" I shake my head. "You don't like me." "I like you well enough to be married to you." His broad shoulders shrug in his familiar black suit. What is going on with him? And what have I gotten myself into?

*Could you ever love a broken person?* "I understand that you're broken," he said as he lifted her chin so she stared directly into his eyes. "But I want you to understand that it is my job to restore the happiness you lost. I am your husband now, Afrah. And it is my responsibility to make you happy. So that is my mission from now until the end of time." Afrah stared down at her hands, feeling as though her soul was being wrenched from her body. She couldn't look him in the eye. Not after what she had gone through. Not when she still saw the devil in his eyes. * It is said that the most painful wounds leave the deepest scars. No one could attest to that more than Afrah Aminu. For eleven years she's kept a secret to herself, knowing that she might never be able to tell anyone. Not that she wanted to. But now, with the sudden arrival of a strange man in her life, she finds herself thrown into the terrifying situation of having to relive it all. As he tears down each and every wall she has set up around her heart, the memories of that haunting night come crashing in waves. Will she be able to survive it? Or will she be crushed underneath its weight?
