The prequel to INSANITY! Tale, A Wilted Origin is a fantastical reimagining of UNDERTALE's humanity set in a grim Nineteen Eighty-Four aesthetic where only select human soul traits are desired after, the BRAVERY and the JUSTICE, ruled by a ruthless military regime that has oppressed most, if not all, opposition.

Despite this, an ignorant young Rose had many dreams of nature and prosperity. Lush and beautiful flowers that she yearned to caress and feel alive with, the freedom to flaunt her tactful mind to the world, but most of all, the pubescent desire of another's touch.

Now, she is cursed with the worst fate an ordinary human could have, the KINDNESS soul trait. For her own safety, her parents rip her out of her illusion of comfort and send her to a soul training facility ran by the government.

The only question that really remains: How will she escape with the love she truly deserves?
