The Battle of Hogwarts changed everyone, that was for sure. Some, following the deaths of their families and friends, took the time to mourn and then found their way slowly back to real life. Others, like George Weasley, struggled to find normalcy again. He found himself turning to booze, drugs, and sex as coping mechanisms. The Leaky Cauldron had never been busier than the months following May of 1998. Viviana Falcon was summoned home from her world travels after learning she inherited the pub from her grandfather. She hadn't been in London since she transferred to Ilvermony in her fourth year, and for good reason. But now duty called, so here she was. George had been at the Leaky Cauldron almost nightly since Fred's funeral. Each night getting drunker than the last and attempting to take someone home with him. One night, Viviana decides she's had more than enough of his drunken antics and kicks him out. Little does she know that George Weasley isn't one to easily follow directions.

Sometimes fireworks are exactly what you need them to be. They are a distraction, an awe catching experience, the shocking feeling when you realize you're in love. But, sometimes fireworks cause exactly what they were meant to, leaving behind nothing but ruins and rubble in their wake. Fred Weasley was never one to obey rules blindly. He always happened to go against the grain his family had set, and he always felt as though he was disappointing them. He never intentionally set out to disrespect or ostracize his family, he just had a habit of pushing boundaries. What happens when Fred Weasley befriends the Malfoy's daughter? And, how would his family react to his loyalty towards her? Or.. Apollo Malfoy always felt like an outcast. She never quite fit the mold her parents made for her. She had a habit of ruining and breaking every good thing she had. She is decidedly cursed... What happens when Apollo struggles to protect everyone she loves most? How will she react to the secrets the adults in her life have been keeping from her? And, what if her life was destined to be left in ruins? Slow burn!
