When Orion Pax discovers that there may be more to his planet than meets the eye, he is sent to Cybertron's best university to build a life away from the Iacon Hall of Records. Having left the Capitol City behind to pursue the knowledge of truth, living amongst the common folk ignites a new perspective. He is urged on by his friend, Megatronus, to believe that the Council governs unfairly, while he himself wrestles with his highest regard for the Primes and those who lead. As the young clerk is tested, his path to becoming the legendary Optimus Prime unfolds in this tale of how Cybertron's apocalypse came to be.
