The dance is in a few weeks. It's not much time to gather enough courage to ask *her* to be my date. But Keefe, being Keefe, made a deal with me. He asked Sophie--who said yes, of course-- if I asked her.

The day of the dance is a disaster. Biana ditches me in 2 seconds flat. But on the bright side I made a new best friend--Or so I thought.

My life sucks. I got a scholarship to one of the most amazing high schools around. Both me and my brother did. The only problem is I'm forbidden from making friends. In fact, when I go to the dance behind Tams back, he's FURIOUS. Not to mention, he made me reject the one person to ever show me kindness after Jacobsen played me. 

Being like I am is not easy. If anyone found out the truth... Well, it wouldn't be good.



The two are brought together, but tragedy strikes, and Dex makes the choice to save Linh at a great cost. Will Linh ever forgive him? Will she push him away, or will they become ultimately closer from the experience.
