It was the year 2025, the Island of Sodor was even busier with ever, flooded by tourists interested in the lore the little island had to offer or curious about the engines who called the island home. This however became a problem for the engines, especially on the mainline as the engines were all pushing over a hundred and they were all struggling with the massive tourist trains as well as their normal duties. 

Thankfully, Sir Topham Hatt had an idea to deal with the issue. He visited the mainland and approached both Didcot Railway Centre and the A1 Steam Trust to ask for 2 new engines to take a little weight off his existing engine's shoulders. These are their stories.All Rights Reserved

Changes in the Wind: Part II - Edward and the Arcane Ones by TheMidlandEngine

The year is 1964, everything has changed for all engines on British tracks. None know what to do with the gigantic modernisation plan which will exterminate them all in replacement of diesels. What the engines of the North Western Region want to know is has Thomas been replaced? With none knowing of what has happened to him along with Peter and Ava, Edward finally has enough and goes out in the wilderness to go and find him. This means going out of Sodor, across the dangerous mainland and getting to an entirely new and foreign island to the blue engine, Thesang Island which is surrounded in mystery for him. As secrets and revelations unfold for him along the way, he must also go and the run, for something sinister and threatening chases him on this adventure of shock, joy and pain for Edward as it challenges the old engine's beliefs forever. Changes in the Wind - Part III: Gordon and the Extinct Ones by TheMidlandEngine

1967, the year before the end of steam. After Thomas, Edward and the other engines of Thesang managed to save a select few engines. More and more steam engines have been trying to escape to Thesang in order to survive the purge that is happening on the mainland. Whilst all this chaos is happening, Gordon feels the biggest pressure of all, with being demanded and pressured by control personally, he is being ripped apart inside. However, with the right engines around him, some he never expected to have. Gordon is seen as the only engine to save the remaining survivors of steam. Read this final adventure of this trilogy by seeing Gordon go through shock, torture and pain which will leave him as the shining hero to all engines of the UK.

After the death of Sir Charles T. Hat, some of his engines have managed to be saved and have been put on a secret railway that is completely hidden from the rest of the world, and has all the supplies it needs. (Y/N) is the controller of the railway, and she is very kind to all the engines, and she manages to find endless supplies of fuel to run the railway. Over the years, new engines come who have been either forgotten, or sent for scrap. (In loving memory of Reverend Awdry and Michael Angelis)

A young girl heads to Britain to learn about steam engines there, but little did she know she would be pointed to an adventure. Inspired by The Island Swansong by TheKnightTrain and Victor Tanzig's Stories of Sodor. This will be nowhere even close to as good as either of them, but they definitely inspired this! And some characters will be in the story while others not. I probably won't be consistent. Sorry.
