*Synopsis*: Emperor Kim has ruled the Kim empire for over two decades, but he has one problem: he has no son to inherit the throne. Despite having multiple wives and concubines, he has failed to produce a male heir, much to his frustration and the dismay of his court. He fears that his legacy will be tarnished and his kingdom will fall into chaos without a clear successor. He desperately seeks a solution, consulting astrologers, doctors, and monks, but nothing seems to work. He even considers adopting a son from a noble family, but he is reluctant to give up his bloodline.

One day, he receives the news that he has been waiting for: one of his wives is pregnant with his child. He is overjoyed and hopeful that this will be the son he has longed for. He lavishes his attention and care on the expectant mother, and prepares for the birth of his heir.

However, when the day comes, he is shocked and dismayed to discover that the child is a girl, not a boy. He feels betrayed and humiliated, and wonders if this is a curse or a test from the heavens. He is torn between his love for his daughter and his duty to his dynasty. He faces a dilemma: should he acknowledge her as his child and risk the wrath of his court and the people, or should he disown her and continue his quest for a son? What will he do when he is given a daughter instead of a prized son?

77 parts Complete Mature

Many years ago, the Western Lee Kingdom was promised a bride for the then infant, Prince Lee Minho. The King and Queen of the Eastern Han Kingdom were sure an arranged marriage was the best way to stop upcoming wars with the Lee Kingdom, and gain allies when battles with the other provinces occurred. However, the couple only had one child, a boy, before they mysteriously both died. Fifteen years later, wars loom even closer, inching towards the Western Kingdom, and, as a last resort, Prince Lee Minho is shoved into a strange, never-before-seen marriage with Crown Prince Han Jisung. Clearly, there will be many problems with this arrangment, the major problem for the princes being that they don't want anything to do with each other. At all. Is it possible, if they push everything else aside, these two princes could fall in love? And if they did, would it be enough to save their marriage, and save both their kingdoms?
