Considered abominations of nature by a fate they did not choose to inflict upon themselves, Amalie and Kol had always seemed to be in a perpetual battle against the very essence of death. But the day arrived when "always and forever" proved to be a mere illusion.

Little did the siblings anticipate that, by a twist of fate, they would be thrust into vastly different realms, the consequences of which they could never have fathomed, nor predicted how they would unfold. Amalie, who harbored an intense disdain for her father, sought to evade his presence at all costs, yet found herself frequently confronted by his looming shadow in the depths of her own reflection. While Kol, known for his wild ways, had to learn to navigate this world, he also experienced, for the first time, a sense of liberation-a feeling of truly being seen.

One specific family in Japan is the Sano family, and there, two siblings happen to be founders of the famous Tokyo Manji Gang (aka Toman). Sano Manjiro and his younger twin sister, Sano Y/n.
