Khurja Junction in Uttar Pradesh is undergoing a significant transformation as part of the ambitious Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. This initiative by the central government aims to modernise and upgrade railway stations across India, enhancing passenger experience and connectivity.

10 Stations in Prayagraj Division Targeted for Redevelopment:
Khurja Junction, situated less than 30 kilometres from the upcoming Noida International Airport, is one of ten stations chosen for redevelopment under the Amrit Bharat scheme in the Prayagraj Division of the North Central Railway. Other stations on the list include Mirzapur, Sonbhadra, Chunar, Manikpur, Govindpuri, Kanpur's Anwarganj, Mainpuri, Shikohabad, and Firozabad.
