Opposites Attract?

Emily, a "nerd", is the type that doesn't care about appearances. Naturally, she hates the "popular crowd" which seem only to care about their "beautiful looks". Although she seems to be shy and composed at school, once she's home, she goes wild.

Jake, basically the "coolest kid in school", bases his personality around his looks and a "bad boy" character. Although he may look tough on the outside, he's actually a very caring guy that wouldn't hurt a fly, maybe he would, basically the complete opposite of his fake character.

So what happens when Jake finds out that Emily's getting bullied? Having a personality like his, there's no way to ignore it. However, there doesn't seem to be a way to help her while still keeping his "cool" character at school. As a result, he starts helping her out behind the scenes. They both seem to think that they aren't each other's type, but then what is the feeling that they feel sneaking into their hearts as they spend more time together...
