Emily, a "nerd", is the type that doesn't care about appearances. Naturally, she hates the "popular crowd" which seem only to care about their "beautiful looks". Although she seems to be shy and composed at school, once she's home, she goes wild.
Jake, basically the "coolest kid in school", bases his personality around his looks and a "bad boy" character. Although he may look tough on the outside, he's actually a very caring guy that wouldn't hurt a fly, maybe he would, basically the complete opposite of his fake character.
So what happens when Jake finds out that Emily's getting bullied? Having a personality like his, there's no way to ignore it. However, there doesn't seem to be a way to help her while still keeping his "cool" character at school. As a result, he starts helping her out behind the scenes. They both seem to think that they aren't each other's type, but then what is the feeling that they feel sneaking into their hearts as they spend more time together...

Cliche. I know I know. Bad boy meets the nerd. But hey this story may just be not cliche enough yet still cliche to meet your likings. Meet Lennon. Obviously, the nerdy girl. She mostly keeps to herself. Sits in the back of the room with her hair always covering her face. Her bulky glasses frame her face largely but she doesn't mind much. Her best-friend is the head cheerleader and she always tries doing things to Lennon to make her more outgoing. then in English class she has to make a story of herself and her partner. Named Parker. Meet Parker. Bad-Boy of the school. Mostly closed out. Has one friend they are pretty close. Most of the girls go after him but very un-cliche. Not the head-cheerleader. He never really knew why because that is usually what happens. As a matter of fact most of the cheerleaders barely look at him. He is very cocky and rude to the girls he does know though. "New student, right?" the Principal asked me. I nodded meekly, hoping that he would turn out to be a patient suffering from short term memory loss and would forget about detention but his next words confirmed how rotten my luck was! "Mr Spencer, Ms Wilson" he began in an icy calm voice," creating a raucous in the corridors right outside my office isn't exactly a heroic thing to do. Both of you have an option of either a week detention together or a two week detention together." My eyes shot wide open, "One week detention with him! That's practically impossible for humankind!" "I don't want to risk my bright IQ by serving detention with this psycho!" I heard Spencer jerk protest. "You have an IQ???" I looked at him, giving my best shocked expressions, "Is it the joke of the decade or joke of the century???" "Since you didn't react to my calling you a psycho, it confirms that you are one." he shrugged calmly. My brain was ready in an instant with a smart answer to that. I opened my mouth to give it back to him--- "STOP." The headmaster yelled, the pulse in his temple was throbbing red in fury. "The options are now changed to three week detention or four week detention." he muttered in anger. ***** Andrea Wilson was looking forward to having an ordinary life in school. But things don't turn out as planned when she accidentally gets into the bad books of the hot nerd in school. And when that popular nerd turns out to be her brother's best friend....well things don't really uncomplicate. Emma Carpenter is a classic example of a nerd. She does her homework, gets straight A's, reads all the time, and never gets in trouble. Then one day Emma gets detention with the one and only Dylan Evans. You could say he's a bad boy. He punches anyone who pisses him off, sleeps around with every girl he meets, doesn't attend school, and is in trouble 99.9% of the time. And of course Emma can't stand him. During detention there teacher assigns them a project for them to do together over the next couple of weeks. Emma is furious. An Unexpected Moment
... that changes everything Sarah was starting her junior year of high school. Looking at herself in the mirror, she saw a pretty average blonde haired, blue eyed, teenager. She was neither in the popular group, nor one of the many cliched outsiders. Sarah was a nobody. She liked to blend in and lay low. It was her way out of not only this town, but her house. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote. There's nothing more challenging than a teenager trying to meet up with school,friends,love,parent,sibling and church. Emma is a 17 years old high school student who is considered a duff in her friends group,fat,ugly and dumb. Have you ever liked some guy that is popular, attractive and yet annoying, rude, mean at the same time? I'm sure nearly every girl has. Mikasa your typical girl who likes this really hot guy in her class but doesn't have the confidence to confess to him. Typical, isn't it? But don't think that they'll end up falling in love, that's too cliche. Instead it's going to be a whole twist and turn of events for this girl when she meets a boy called Alex whom she 'befriends.' Alex is the whole opposite of who Mikasa likes. Although, she becomes quite close to him, telling him her crush and him encouraging her and helping her out. Will spending time together bring them closer than just friends? A story that is nothing more closer to reality.
