"Arise now, ye Tarnished. Ye dead, who yet live. The call of long-lost grace speaks to us all!" It was a simple, yet grand purpose to those given a second chance by the Light of Grace. To become Elden Lord and claim the Elden Ring. Many would be emboldened by the flame of that ambition, and many more would perish at the hands of those who wished nothing more than to see the Tarnished dead. Such was the way things were in the Lands Between, shattered and fractured to the point of chaos between its residents. Only a select few would be guided by Grace, however only one would truly be gifted with something incredible. A gift that would render the physical well-being of a soul... unworried in the face of death. Yet the mind of that same individual would only be further damaged from it. So what did it mean to have true immortality? A blessing? Or merely a foul curse in disguise? One Tarnished warrior would grow bitter to it nonetheless, all the while cherishing the one gift he truly had. A friend. One he would do anything to protect, and one he would grow to love in spite of fate itself. This is an Elden Ring Two-Shot story; a Male reader X Melina story. Darksiders: To End an Era (Book 4)

33 parts Complete Mature

"Ready your forces, or ready your graves. This fight may be our last." With Kayden's tale laid to rest, time still goes on. But the number of cycles the clock's hands have remaining is left to be determined. Despite the existence of newfound peace across Creation, darkness has slithered through the cracks with an ancient relic in its power-hungry sights. Time has been bided, histories erased, and revelations are all but slow coming. The Horsemen have a final task, one that will bring freedom, or ultimately destroy them all. It's time to end an era.
