The times of the old republic are dead.
At least for most people. But a young Mandalorian female breathes the old republic like it is air, and knows it like the back of her hand, especially since she is the direct heir of Mandalore the Preserver, Canderous Ordo.
She understands that while preserving the past is important, fighting for what you believe, a key Mandalorian belief, is far more important. So, on a whim, she ups and joins the GAR, and meets many amazing people, and some of them are even Jedi.
Thrown into a war she doesn't fully understand, she's put with a squad of 99's, defective clones with desirable enhancements: Clone Force 99.
The Kaminoans put stipulations in her contract, saying if she can't get along with the "worst" squad in GAR she will be discharged immediately.
Will she be able to make it in a war, a world, she fully doesn't understand? Will she still be able to uphold her beliefs as a Mandalorian? And will she ever feel at home with this group of rag tag clones?
Or, will she fall short, and fail?

In an altered galaxy far, far away the Kaminoans ended up creating what could potentially be their deadliest enemy, skilled and sneaky enough to expose their heinous crimes to the Republic and put them out of business. They threw everything they could at SAC-1 to force her into submission, but she's known as Agent Talla to her growing gaggle of allies made across the galaxy - confused and wronged Jedi, Senators and rogue clones fed up with the system, a high society snob from Kuat who is more than meets the eye and owns a convor that's obsessed with Crosshair, and some Coruscanti citizens wanting to make a real difference (one who's had a crush on Wrecker since they first met) SAC-1 was placed with Experimental Unit: Clone Force 99 in hopes they could complete her training. But Doctor Nala Se soon learned that these defiant batch of enhanced clones would only enhance Agent Talla's growing defiance - how far is she willing to go to erase her mistakes? And how many mistakes will Agent Talla make, how many people will she try to save, how many people will she end up hurting, how many times will her ingrained ideals be questioned before she realizes that in the end, none of them were never meant to win the Clone Wars? It all ended up being for naught... The Light Between Storms (Book 1)

76 parts Complete

Elara never meant to stand out. On Kamino-where lightning splits the sky and cadets are pushed to their limits-she's just trying to survive. Exhausted from night shifts and falling behind in the combat medic program, she's one mistake away from being cut. She doesn't expect anyone to notice. Especially not them. But Clone Force 99 is watching. Led by the enigmatic Hunter-sharp-eyed, soft-spoken, and impossible to read, the squad offers her something unexpected: a second chance. A new kind of training. And a place she never thought she could belong. As Elara fights to prove herself, her bond with the team deepens... especially with the quiet sergeant who sees more than she wants to admit. In the storm of war, survival isn't just about strength. It's about trust, found family, and the courage to let someone in. And on a planet where it never stops raining, Elara might finally find her light.
