When researching, she finds out that there was an abandoned school not far from her house that lays some deep connections with this 'game.' She explores the abandoned school and finds a headset which she decides to put on, not realizing that she just sold her fate.

Each day that she goes, there is always a little white flower on the windowsill of one of the rooms. On her first day of school, she surprises the class by sitting next to "the shadow," an outsider that always has a barrier around him. To Thea, she thinks she could make friends with him. One day, she discovers a passage in the castle after following "the shadow." Through this passage and into the french catacombs, lies a portal. Through it is a strange land that she has never seen before. As she continues to learn more about this strange land and her strange friend, she finds out her ties to this other world. ~~~ By the way I like to use * in my books.
