The year is 1943, New York City. Here you follow the story of Markus Sullivan, a young detective. He's a single father after his wife passed on and he's tried to make himself a living by solving cases around the city. after the breakthrough of solving his first big case he made headlines and has been quite the talk of the town. Suddenly a man has been murdered, with no leads, no evidence, nothing. Once his partner in crime from his last case drops the idea of trying to solve it completely, a widowed woman steps forward. In need of help to find who caused death to her husband, she begs Sullivan to help solve this case, offering to help him to find leads and evidence for the crime with whatever needs necessary.
