A short and tiny story about a divided world at war and gravity is two times as effective. I wrote this story, intending to make the reader think about a few things. The narrator in this story questions his faith in humanity, and questions if there is any hope left for his broken world. I hope you enjoy this story.

Their fleets left a trail of blood and destruction behind them. their armies, numbered in the trillions, were no match for even the strongest weapons of man. And yet, even as the planet-wide city of Earth burned and the entire human population massacred at the trails of the xeno gunfire. There were still survivors. The 3rd fleet, having been late for the final battle, was forced to flee.
