The two never talk to each other in class and the only time they talk is when Kokichi teases Himiko for being short and that created a rivalry. One day, their teacher says that the class is going for a field trip to Fire◎Flower Island. Eveyone's excited but the teacher told everyone they had to be grouped in pairs and she was choosing them. Surprisingly, Kokichi and Himiko were grouped together. Both of them were not happy but it cannot be helped. When they spend the week together, Kokichi had developed feelings for Himiko but did not know how to express it. As the days go on, Kokichi and Himiko realise that they have a lot in common.
