I am running. Probably the fastest I have ever run. The road under my feet is rough and full of rocks so I could feel the pain in my bare feet. But I don't stop running. I cannot.
I have to get to them.

Then behind me I hear a noise. Bone-cracking and blood-freezing noise. A single scream. I turn around and it gets to me.
Romana - dystopian country in which people live in sections depending on their ingestus - ability which manifests when they turn twenty years.
Iulia is a twenty-one years old girl who have failed the Selectio - the manifesting of her powers - two times and have only one chance not to become part of the Plebecula - the section on the bottom of the society which is for all those powerless citizens.
