Hare, the daughter of Princess Burn, and the dragonets of destiny have escaped the clutches of Queen Scarlet, but that doesn't ensure their safety. 

In search of protection, the dragonets journey to the Kingdom of the Sea. Queen Coral seems welcoming and promises to guard them, but that doesn't hide the other dangers that lurk in the kingdom. 

Unknown traitors fill the SeaWing's tribe, and a mysterious warning keeps Hare on edge. Perhaps instead of finding safety, the dragonets have thrown themselves into more danger...

Basically James gets pulled into a portal that takes him to the WoF universe, and in order to go back to his home he has to do one thing: help the rest of the dragonets stop the war. I'll be keeping Glory in bc I don't wanna leave out our sassy Rainwing queen, and also bc plot. Of course, there will be plenty of things that will change, which you will see as the story progresses! Keep in mind that characters may act OOC (Out Of Character) to fit my writing style, so I don't want to see any of you yell at me about it. If you have a problem with this then either be nice about it or leave the book. Small heads up: This will contain spoilers for the first 5 Wings of Fire books from The Dragonet Prophecy to The Brightest Night. If you have not read those books yet I suggest you read them, but otherwise you are free to read this. Hare will do whatever it takes to see the war end and let the continent live in peace. She will give the SandWings a queen, though she's not sure she'd be able to watch her mother die. When Hare realizes that there's no convincing her friends to keep trying, she turns to another group of dragonets to ask them for help. Flame hates the prophecy. He hates his stupid fate and the stupid NightWing that threw him into this mess. When he finds out the prophecy was fake all along, he's more than happy to give up. He wants nothing more than to go home and see his mother, especially after all that's happened. But Hare manages to be convincing enough, and the last thing he wants is to have to live in fear of losing his mother to the war. Both groups of dragonets have lived their entire lives in a lie, but one will end the war and make Pyrrhia the continent it was before.
