Life has always been tough for Johnny , it's left him aching to get out of the town where all the pain started and get to a better place both geographically and emotionally. Makayla hasn't faired much better than Johnny. Now that her mom's gone, her dads temper has taken a turn for the worst. She is desperate for a chance to get away from him. She has to hold out until the end of the year. These two may finally get a chance to be happy, not to say it won't be hard, but they've depended on each other their whole lives.
