Eli is who many classify as a loser.

Eli, unemployed, a young adult who still stays at his parent's house at the Mistfelden cultist neighbourhood Ramora Lane, stuck in his room all day. Eli spends all his time online, attached to the streamers he likes and the only friend he has is his online friend, "Mouse." His parents hate him and don't even take care of him, and he hates himself. He does the same thing everyday: Wake up, stay online, sleep, wake up at midnight, eat, go back to sleep.

Eli plans to break the cycle tomorrow morning.

But before he can carry out his plan, he is stopped by Gray, a Guardian Angel tasked to look after Eli as a way to get redeemed back into Heaven. To Eli's disdain, he now has himself a divine bodyguard who doesn't even care for redemption except for the bragging points that comes with it. To add salt to the wound, he knows almost nothing about him, so he isn't even sure if he should trust a Fallen Angel as obnoxious as Gray.

Unfortunately, Gray is the most company Eli has had in a while, so he might as well try to get to know him. And when Eli finally manages to escape Ramora Lane, he finds that he'll have plenty of time to get to know the angel. To his surprise, he and the angel have much in common.All Rights Reserved

Her lack of experience is leaving her with doubts about neurodiversity, depression, her sexuality, and the loneliness that comes from her introversion. She struggles to find the strength to face a world where people do not see her as human and project their insecurities onto her, clinging to her "antidotes" as she calls them: a furbaby named Sky, music, chocolate, and Netflix. Without a support system around her, she uses all the stories she sees on the screens as a compass in her life and hopes to get the same result. Because if it works on TV, why not for her? She expresses what she can't convey through words in her mind by using analogies of TV characters or songs. Eliz ponders whether there's a place for her, viewing life through the lens of a mother who had to raise her alone and a sister who resembles a model from a magazine. A friend who is more of a friend when both are doing badly and a job she got because of dropping out of college. Add being monosyllabic, withdrawn, and a boss she doesn't know how to talk to because she "thinks" she's interested in him, but what does she do with that? Come in and look at the mess in her head, hidden behind a desk answering phones. Eliz is repetitive and full of insecurities.
