Deus ex machina (Latin: "god from the machine") is a character or object who appears unexpectedly in a story to resolve an apparently unsolvable situation in an unlikely but unexpected event.
But what if that person or object weren't there to save the day? What if they are there for their own agendas instead of helping the heroes? What if, instead of solving the problem, things get worse?
This is the story of Kamen Rider, but not the kind you would expect. Dark Riders, Evil Riders, Villain Riders, and so on. Whatever you call them, they appear across fiction, wreaking havoc and destroying both heroes and villains alike.
P.S. I do not own Kamen Rider or any piece of fiction in this story. This includes the arts as well. All belong to their rightful owners.
A million dollar bounty, underground assassins, torture-it's all in a days work for assassin Jessie Wright.
* * * * * *
Molded into an assassin by the one who killed her parents, Jessie defies orders and goes rogue. Now with a bounty on her head, her only chance of survival may be with a man who's reputation is worse than her own.
Violence, Assault, Swearing.
