Bones and Arrows

The Garnet Pack is settled on a 100-acre piece of land in Montana. Lotus is an Omega, an uncommon status to hold within a pack. It's mostly because no one really knows where to place her. Lotus' family loves and accepts her differences. She was diagnosed with Autism. In the beginning, her parents were nervous about raising a neurodivergent child. With Lotus being only seven at the time, she didn't really care and continued being her loving and bubbly self.

As she grew up, she was ostracized and made fun of by some of her peers. Thankfully, she made friends like Lola, Titus, Oscar, and Jolie. Navigating life in a pack of people who don't want to know or understand you gets easier when you have such great friends and family. The annual Mating Gala is soon and Lotus is not keen on going much to her mother's dismay and her father's contentment. Her older brothers Alex, Dallin, Pollux, and Fox aren't too sure about her going either. This is her first Mating Gala and her mom tells her how important it is to go.

Ultimately she decides to go with her friends and family close behind her. Her father tells her to just be herself and have so much fun because she deserves to be there just as much as the others. She is and has always been the light of their lives.

Blood pumping in my ears, my skin buzzing, and my legs burning. I look behind me sensing his presence closing in on me. We aren't allowed to shift and being on two feet feels so weird. Spotting a large tree, I bolt as fast as I can, only to be pinned against its trunk.
