The room pulsed with tension as Thanatos leaned in, his dark eyes fixed on Amira, the space between them charged with something raw. "You're not afraid of me, are you?" His voice was low, challenging. Amira's heart raced, but she smirked, defiant. "Should I be?" In a flash, Thanatos was before her, fingers in her hair, tilting her head back. His lips hovered near her throat, his breath hot against her skin. "You should be," he whispered. "But you're not, are you? You're drawn to me." She trembled, her body betraying her mind. "You think I'll fall for your charms?" He chuckled darkly, his grip tightening. "You've already fallen." He pressed her against the wall, his kiss rough, desperate, and full of dangerous promises. When he pulled away, his lips hovered just above hers. "I am fire," he growled. "And you? You want to burn." Amira's breath hitched, the truth of his words undeniable. His fingers traced her waist, lingering as if daring her to deny what was happening. "Don't think I won't make you mine," he murmured. "You already have," she whispered, breathless. His wicked grin spread. "Good." This was just the beginning.

"Littering, that's something that you can be sorry for." "I needed to get it out of the way for a moment," He replied absently, pushing himself off of the pillar and I blinked at him confused as he walked around to stand before me. "I'll pick it up after this." "After what-" I cut my own words off, my air catching as his warm breath fanned over my cheeks, the smell of him filling my nose. Intoxicating. "You're beautiful you know." My cheeks burned. "Like a thousand wildflowers," I said. His hooded eyes were bright in the dim light, a content smile pulling at the corners of his lips when I spoke. Dad had said that once, I had nearly forgotten it. Forgotten what it felt like to feel loved. "Like a thousand wildflowers," he echoed.
