One day, in a state of boredom, Nate writes a message on a sticky note, and presses it under his chair during his biology class. Alex finds it during her study hall in that same room. She writes back. For the whole school year, Nate and Alex share a stream of yellow and purple sticky notes, writing to each other. Alex is happy that she has a friend.
