Romance
Light panting, subtle stomps, heavy breathing, and muffles were all you could hear coming from Ivy's room. You have to pay detailed attention to hear those extra little quirky noises that she makes with her voice, the way it cringes when she misses her note, the heavy sighs of desperation she lets out when she feels like she is off pitch. The way she forces herself into quietly reaching notes that are unreachable for someone with her range. But there is only so much the human ear can detect, the inaccessible for our ears is the obtainable for other beings. The echoes of Ivy's voice in a room filled with furniture does not go unnoticed by the special kind. The way Ivy whispers obscenities every time she feels frustrated by the lack of will in her voice, the way Ivy scribbles in her music sheet trying to perfect her notes, none of this goes unnoticed all of this is taken into account. (I will add a description once it has more than 5 chapters out!!)

All Ivy wanted was love. Her boyfriend of one year, Jake, seemed to be a good option, but he was far too professional for Ivy's liking, and her best friend, Violet, didn't like him at all. What else was she supposed to do, though? So what if he didn't hold her, hug her, and kiss her properly? At least she could say that she'd had her first kiss and was in a relationship. That had to be worth something, right? One day walking home, she wished for her prince charming. Upon entering her room, she found out that sometimes you get what you wish for. Is she prepared to face the person who left the note she finds in her room, possessively claiming that she belongs to him? And all he signs it with is an X.
