My name is Shanya. I am a hybrid of sorts, the limit to my....'abilities' knows yet no bounds. It's easy dealing with those who attempt to capture me for the price on my head. But when real trouble arises things might get ugly. I'm not sure if I'm the only one of my kind out there, but I'll soon find out. I'm classed as a freak, but do I care? Nope. Sure I enjoy evading the law but this is about more than that.
This book is a joint project with V3ND3TTA. We are also writing another perspective, also named The Outsiders, that will be posted on her account. These stories are set around the main protagonist and antagonist (depending on how you look at it) and will link throughout the book.

You didn't know her, or what the giant woman was talking about, but you knew, this was someone you could trust. So without realizing it, you nodded, and the woman smiled even brighter. As she did so, you wondered who she was, and what in the world you were doing here. The last thing you could remember was...wait. The last thing you remember, the battle, that damned planet. Were they still on it? Are they safe? Did the pod get fixed? Were you able to save him in time...? Before you could go into a full on panic mode, a mighty roar shook the earth, making the woman's hand that you were standing on sway side to side. You watched as her smile faded when another loud and angry roar was heard. It was so loud, it shook the ground and you had to cover your ears, while the giant woman's eyes widened ever so slightly. However, what made you start to worry, was when you heard her say, "ᓍᕼ ᘉᓍ... ᕼᘿ ᖽᐸᘉᓍᘺS." He? "ᘺᕼᓍ ᖽᐸᘉᓍᘺS?" She didn't answer you. She only put the tip of her finger (which was bigger then your skull) and touched the top of your forehead. "ᘺ-ᘺᗩᓰᖶ, ᘺᗩᓰᖶ!" And that was when, everything you learned, your likes and dislikes, families, loved ones, all of your memories... WARNING: CONTAINING AMOUNTS OF SASS PREVIOUSLY UNKNOWN TO MANKIND In the city of NYC--- Ok. Hold up. First of all, New York City. What, are ya gonna assume everyone here knows what NYC is? Anyway, this is about two people. I can almost hear you rolling your eyes. Another cliché teen fiction with a bad boy and a good girl? Nope. This is about superheroes. I can still hear you rolling your eyes. Superheroes. Like in comic books? Like people with super speed and mutant powers? Yes. But this isn't about the fight they have. More about the lives they lead without the masks. But just keep in mind, people who live in the world have all different skin colours. Do not assume my characters are of one unless I state them explicitly. and diversity is welcome here in my novel! Anyhow, back to the story. Ever wonder where supervillains go after their fight with the hero? What about the other side of the story? It's not like they sit in their lair cackling all day and planning how to kidnap reporters. What about the lives they lead? And instead of just focusing on that, what if the superhero and the supervillain knew each other? I mean, can they see behind the mask? No, so their identities are secret. So what if the hero and villain were best friends? What if they were roommates? What if they were falling for each other? And what happens when they find out? Now, I assume you know all of these questions will be answered in this book. But hold on. It's going to take a while. You're in for a bumpy ride. And if any of you got any of the references in this description, give yourself a pat on the back. That is a beautiful thing. *This series features dragons from the mobile game DragonVale. After a massive famine, this world falls into chaos, giving rise to a pack of cannibals that systematically ends the population. This group is known as the Voidian Raiders. Over the course of the three series, we meet a band of survivors that ultimately defeats the raiders and, later on, teams up with them to save the dying Void. This culminates in the remaining Voidian population settling an island in the Dragon Universe, starting over from scratch. Tales From the Void is a series of side stories, documenting the journeys of other Voidians and their struggles in background of these events. Some directly intersect with the events of the Void series, some only connect losely, and some are connected to entirely other storylines in my vast Dragon Universe continuity.
