A creepy librarian. A girl who loves books. And a school contest that brings them together for one lucid adventure. 

There's something strange about the new librarian. She's constantly talking to herself in whispers. Pausing mid-conversation to argue under her breath with whomever or whatever she thinks she's talking to. A few of my friends think she's mad. But most students can't stop gossiping that the new librarian is a witch. 

Maybe it's the tarantula that rides on her shoulder. Or the jars of weird things behind her desk. I always knew middle school was going to be harder than elementary school. But my parents never prepared me for this!
