In a British woodland, nestled in the undergrowth is a civilisation unbeknownst to most humans. No bigger than the length of a human hand, 'The Cortarians' are an innovative and eco-friendly race, Taking humans discarded rubbish and repurposing it for their needs.
They are gentle and live in relative peace with nature unless animals much larger than them see them as a tasty meal, they band together to fight of predators.

When humans are nearby, they hide away and so have rarely been spotted or discovered, and therefore documented... until now!
