Kylie Miller, the one and only kid of the Miller mom has just lost her mother. Although Kylie really loves her mother, she's angry at her for letting go of her one and only child. Kylie's father left her mother when he found out that she was pregnant, although he claimed he loved her. As Kylie now doesn't have a family or home, she has to go to an aunts house, and live with her. Kylie is chosen to be sent to her Aunt Claire's house. Aunt Claire had the same problem as Kylie's mother-her husband left her at time of birth, the hardest period in a women's life.
But things change when Kylie meets a handsome young man named Chris Richardson. He lives right next door to Kylie's aunt, so she see's him often. Although Chris never says why, he doesn't truly believe in love either, like Kylie. Chris likes to sleep with the most anonymous girls, and leave them in the end. That's how he is. But he treats Kylie differently. And Kylie does to. To Kylie, sparks fly when the two are together. Are these two just making up stuff to win the other's heart? Or is this actual true love?
