The life of a young half vampire from England is soon to begin, twenty five years of living in her fathers shadow has made her cautious and careful in every aspect of life. Veda is placed in a rather peculiar situation when her friend invites her to a concert, a band she had only heard of in passing and known very little about. She never once expected to be made a spectacle in a crowd of thousands, the leading man taking more than a slight moment of interest in her. With her hand in his, she was taken without much hesitation.
She never believed in the stories her father would tell about a sirens call, always thinking it was nothing more than a wives tale. But, when she experienced the call first hand, she begins to think differently.
This story depicts Vedas journey through the unholy Ministry, Papa Emeritus III just at her heels every step of the way. Plans have been made, futures read, and positions ready to be filled the moment she made an impact on not only on Terzo, but the entire Ministry itself.
