Not letting a second go to waste, I make my way around him while he still holds himself on the ground, unable to breathe and restrain him into a headlock. My arms become boa constrictor in that moment, snaking around his vulnerable neck as I lick them into position, rendering him conquered. Humiliated, and then conquered. He struggles and squirms with all his might, but to no avail. Once my arms lock into this position, they don't budge. A black void consumes his mind as his squirming slowly becomes less and less as the seconds pass. And then it stops. He stops. Unmoving. I slowly let my constriction loosen around his neck and let him fall to the ground with a thud. I stand above his body, panting heavily, as I look into Ghost's eyes once again. Everyone gapes at me as I ask with my eyes, 'Was that good enough for you?'

The door clicked shut behind us, sealing away the world. My back pressed against it before I had even taken a breath. His hands, warm and sure, slid to my waist, pulling me in like he had been holding himself back all day and had finally broken. The scent of him - faint cologne mixed with something darker, headier - wrapped around me. My fingers found his lapel, curling tight, grounding myself against the storm in his eyes. "You have no idea," he murmured, voice low and ragged, "how hard it was... not to touch you like this." His forehead rested against mine for a heartbeat, his breath brushing my lips, and then - the restraint snapped. His arms caged me in, pulling me flush against him, every inch of him radiating heat. My pulse tripped over itself as his thumb traced my jaw, tilting my head just enough for his mouth to hover over mine. Every second stretched, thick with the weight of everything unspoken. And then he kissed me - deep, urgent, the kind that leaves you dizzy, the kind that says you're mine without a single word.
