What if the avatar cycle didn't stop when Aang went into his 100-year hibernation but continued? Just not how you think. What if fate was written in stone, and when Aang was meant to die, the next Aavatar was born? Except her powers hadn't yet awakened. Sixteen years ago, the day Aang was meant to die, Kairi, a northern water tribe bender, was born. This is her journey.
This story will be a Zuko x oc. The story won't be too long. It will start in Season Two of the animated series. Also, the timeline will be faster in some parts and slower in others, there will be information from The Legend of Korra in here. By the series' end, zuko and Mc will be 18. It will be a Mai x Ty Lee ship because it's something I like. Also, Katara will be kind of annoying till the chapter with the southern raiders.
Kairi has coffee brown hair(so really dark) electric blue eyes, and mid-back wavy hair, and she's built a lot like Korra, I have added some drawings I made in hopes it helps!

Secrets Until Known... (Avatar Aang Love Story) Book 1/3
Book 1 or the Trilogy. This fanfic is set in the middle of the 100 year war, NONE OF THE CHARACTERS HAVE MET EACHOTHER. Sokka (15 years old) and Katara (14 years old) are brother and sister who both attend the Omashu Boarding school.  Sokka's girlfriend is Suki, who is a Kyoshi Warrior who stays on Kyoshi Island. She is 15 years old. Zuko (16 years old) and Mai (16 years old) are girlfriend and boyfriend, Ty Lee and Azula (both 15) are best friends and Azula is Zuko's brother, Zuko and Azula's dad is Fire Lord Ozai. They also go the the Omashu Boarding School but are feared as are the rest of the firebenders. Aang (14 years old) is the Avatar and has mastered Air and Water but still has to master fire and has done a little work in earth bending, without anyone finding out who he really is. Sophia (14 years old) is 'The Legend' which is the partner to the Avatar, she can learn all the elements and contact the spirit world, she has mastered Fire and Air and has started earth but still needs to do Water. In this fanfic, they are going to a boarding school in Omashu to learn bending. The world has been Avatarless for 100 years, but what they don't know is that they are going to school with him. Avatar Aang was found in the Avatar State by a WaterBender in the Northern Tribe, Princess Yue. His partner Legend Sophia was found in the Legend State just off the coast of the Northern Air Temple. enemies, to friends, to lovers. ______________ hi there. so, this is modern. they still have bending, ba sing se is a place etc. it's just like ATLA except with technology i guess? not sure how to explain it. but we've got zukka because im in love with it, kataang and then.. toph. but there is not firelord stuff or anything like that. i'm editing this 3 chapters in because it followed the plot line better LMAO suki died. i haven't put too much research into when she died, but i'm gonna say this is like a year or so after the last episode of atla. they need to be aged up LMAO sokka is 17, zuko 18. katara 16 and for the sake of the plot aang is also 16. toph is 15. mature content warning. minimal swearing if y'all care LMAO. its slow burn and a lot of beating around the bush. they don't wanna admit anything and sokkas just overall afraid to love again after every woman or girl he's loved has died in some form. minus katara and toph. zukos head over heels you could say, he's realizing what affection really feels like. so this leaves him questioningComplete
