Jacqueline Winters is an ordinary woman to everyone-with the exception of her loving spouse, of course. Like every other ordinary person, she lives the life of an ordinary NYC private office worker- waking up, promising to have a proper English breakfast one day while chewing stale brown bread, packing up her brief case and running off at an anti-hero organization and not coming back until late at night, and that too, drunk- it's a monotone, monochrome life.
Except, her position at AMM (Albatross Moral Murders) does not, like most privately owned organization, only kill the economy. It also kills people. And it doesn't nearly rake in enough to give it's employees insurance benefits. Oh well, just an everyday cottage industry, service category. However, when her brother-in-law's murder goes brilliantly but the getaway gets messy, she finds herself unequivocally tossed into a mess of monochrome, murder-coloured characters.
Before she knows it, she, Jacqueline, 2nd LvL Firearms officer at AMM, Mrs. Moyna Pippins, 1st LvL Getaway Coordinator, Inspector Morton etc etc are all stringed together into the scarlet thread of murder (*nods at Sir Doyle*). Scarlet- like the arteries that draw blood from hearts- hearts that beat for one another in iambic proclamations of love through entirely personal eternities. TLDR: Love, love, blah blah. You're on Wattpad, you know the drill. Sometimes, a bit of love acts as hotter glue to fix life than romance. We'll see.
