When tension rises after the reappearance of Edward Teach and the lack of Stede Bonnet, Izzy Hands has been taking the brunt of Blackbeard's wrath. However, things take a turn, most likely for the worst, when Izzy learns that there's a part of him influenced by someone so insignificant... at least he thought was.
